About Me

Ever since I was young I was always fascinated by rubber and leather. The first time I saw a leather helmet worn by a pilot literally froze me still. A diver in a rubber drysuit coming out of the water, dripping with gear and shine. A motorcycle rider in full leather suit, helmet, gloves and boots. I wanted to be that pilot, that diver, that rider.

At first I thought this was really weird, perhaps unhealthy — especially growing up in an environment that was very judgmental, conservative, maybe archaic in today’s world. It took me years to discover and realize that there are other people who share my passions, fetishes and embrace them — and live a fulfilling life. The illusion of a perfect and sheltered world fractured and made me a stronger person that I am today.

My name speaks for itself: I am into all sorts of gear (though I sometimes make exceptions). I feel a strong connection to total enclosure whether it is rubber, leather, flight suits, or wet and dry suits. The feeling makes me calm, almost meditative, safe and protected from the “outside” world with a deep sense of security.
